We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our team. Duties
As a Legal Intern, the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Conducting legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant information and provide analysis.
- Assisting with contract drafting and review, ensuring that all agreements meet company standards.
- Providing support to the general counsel, helping to litigate cases and ensure that all legal matters are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborating with paralegals and other team members to gather information and complete tasks.
- Writing legal documents, including briefs and motions, and editing them for clarity and accuracy.
- Analyzing complex legal issues and providing thoughtful recommendations.
Skills
- Proficiency in Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis legal research tools.
- Strong understanding of contract law and the ability to draft and review contracts.
- Experience with legal drafting and the ability to write clear and concise legal documents.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with the litigation process and the ability to assist with litigation tasks.
