What You'll do
Authentic is seeking a detail-oriented and motivatedCorporate Legal Intern to support our Corporate Legal team. The intern will assist with legal entity/corporate org chart maintenance and review, commercial contract review and negotiation, corporate resolution drafting, and other legal team initiatives. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a law student to gain hands-on experience in corporate law within a dynamic business environment.
What You'll be Working on
- Assist with corporate entity management, including maintaining and updating corporate records
- Review, analyze, and support the negotiation of various commercial contracts under attorney supervision
- Draft corporate resolutions and other governance-related documents
- Support the legal team in responding to KYC and due diligence requests from financial institutions, vendors, and business partners
- Conduct legal research on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements
- Perform other administrative and legal support tasks as assigned
Must Haves
- Current law student (2L or 3L preferred)
- Ability to work 20 hours per week
- Ability to work onsite 2-3 days in our Miami office
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior legal internship or experience in a corporate or law firm setting is a plus
Primary Location Salary Range:
The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York is $18The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York is $22
