We are in search for a legal intern that will report to our Vice President, Associate General Counsel! As an intern in our legal department, you can develop your skills alongside a team of supportive mentors and inspiring leaders. Position Summary
The legal department intern is responsible for assisting in various legal matters, including:
- General corporate and contract matters
- Intellectual property matters, such as copyright, trademark, patent protection, and offensive and defensive intellectual property disputes and litigation
- Marketing and e-commerce matters
- Regulatory and legislative matters
Job Responsibilities
- Draft and organize basic corporate documents and correspondence
- Maintain files and records
- Research offensive and defensive intellectual property claims and work with attorney and paralegal on appropriate strategies
- Participate in product design review and clearance
- Assist in commercial contract review
- Assist in document collection and production in litigation
- Assist in filing and renewal of trademark, copyright and patent applications
- Prepare marketing and e-commerce guidance for the company’s brands
- Research and prepare global privacy guidance
- Assist attorneys in the department in other legal matters, including product safety and employment matters
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in our San Francisco corporate office (7-to-9-week program)
- Strong academic credentials – completing first year of law school, 1L’s
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Superior organization skills and high attention to detail
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The expected starting pay range for this position is $25.00 hourly. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit and bonus opportunities.
