The Chicago office of McDonald Hopkins seeks dynamic and motivated first-year law student to join its 10-week 2025 summer program. Our Summer Program is designed to give a realistic view of McDonald Hopkins with exposure to assignments from all practice groups, client interaction, opportunities to attend court proceedings and engaging networking opportunities.
Interested students must submit the following:

- First-semester transcript (if you do not have a transcript at the time you apply, please submit your transcript once available. Your application is not complete without a first-semester transcript)
- Personal statement that describes your interest in McDonald Hopkins, your ties to the Chicago area, and your academic, professional and/or leadership achievements. Please also focus on how you have overcome adversity or challenging circumstances.
Candidates must be full-time or part-time first year law students enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
