Job DescriptionSchnucks’ Summer Intern Program is an immersive corporate internship based from our St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. Interns gain real-world experience in their designated department, and collaborate on a cross-functional, inter-disciplinary group project to present at the end of the summer. These are paid internships that require full-time attendance 6/2/2025 through 8/8/2025.
The 2025 Legal Summer Internshipsupports multiple legal disciplines within the Schnucks in-house legal department, and introduces the candidate to Schnucks’ corporate culture.
This role requires 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days remote, and is located in St Louis, Missouri.Essential Responsibilities:
Perform basic litigation-related tasks including discovery requests and responses, motion drafting, document review, and general case strategy development.
Research and analyze legal issues pertaining to a wide range of legal disciplines, and prepare summaries and memoranda for legal team.
Review and analyze contracts and other legal documents.
Gain exposure and experience across legal fields including litigation, regulatory affairs, employment and labor, contracts, real estate, and transactions.
Support legal team with projects and tasks as needed.
Cross-functional group project collaborating with other interns.
Minimum Requirements:
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Current and Fall 2025 enrollment in a Juris Doctorate program at an accredited law school.
Available to work full-time Monday through Friday 6/2/2025 – 8/8/2025.
Interest in Schnucks advancement post-graduation.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Some knowledge/experience in legal disciplines.
Comfortable navigating Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Eager to learn and take initiative.
Must be able to work remotely as necessary.
Displays values consistent with Schnucks’ COMET culture.
Additional Requirements – Internal candidates:
- Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks.
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
