We have an opportunity for a 3 rd year law student to join our St. Louis-based team as a Law Clerk on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, in addition to excellent academic credentials. The candidate must be a self-starter, possess the ability to multi-task, and be proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications and Lexis/Nexis. Working with others in a team-oriented environment is essential. This position could lead to a permanent full-time attorney position post-graduation depending upon the performance of the candidate.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a 3 rd year law student at an ABA accredited law school in Missouri and able to work at least 10 hours per week.
- Capable of completing sophisticated legal assignments based on the needs of attorneys and clients, including but not limited to, legal research and writing, organizing documents, drafting motions, drafting articles, and other duties as assigned.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work schedule and commuting into the St. Louis office as needed.
- Learning how to track time daily using our billing software.
- Capable of proactively seeking guidance and feedback from the supervising attorney/mentor/assigning attorneys on performance, deadlines, quality of work, and/or areas of improvement.
