The law clerk will aid and expedite research for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Duties will include legal research and drafting internal reports regarding disposition of petitions for allowance of appeal. May also be requested to assist in drafting opinions.
This position, which is well suited for a recent law school graduate or for an individual who began practicing law within the past few years, requires outstanding research and writing skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of law.

Superior communication, interpersonal, research, analytical, and writing skills.

Law review preferred but not required.

Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Admission, in good standing, to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania or admission to the Bar within twelve months of appointment.

- Satisfactory criminal background check required.
