Summer Intern – Legal & Business Operations

Summary/Objective
WTO is looking for an Legal & Business Operations Summer Intern in Denver. The intern will work closely with our paralegal and business professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the legal field. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and exposure to various aspects of legal and administrative work.
Responsibilities:
Paralegal
- Conduct research under the guidance of legal professionals.
- Assist in searching and filing documents in the Firm’s document management system.
- Assist in trial preparation.
- Track and summarize case information under the direction of the Sr. Paralegal.
- Other special duties or projects depending on staff needs.
Business Operations
- Assist with administrative work including printing, scanning, data entry, photocopying, mailing, and binder preparation.
- General administrative research.
- Assist with A/V, meeting scheduling, and conference room set-ups.
- Package sorting and delivery.
- Work closely with administrative and operations teams to support day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student enrolled in 4-year college/university
- Interest in the legal industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Exhibits strong initiative, ownership, independent thinking, creativity, and collegiality.
- Has excellent attention to detail and quality of work.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The Summer Internship is full-time, 40 hour per week program, that is expected to run from June 1 – July 31. This is a non-exempt position and is entitled to overtime pay. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including lunch hour. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly pay rate when the employee works more than 40 hours in a Sunday through Saturday work week.
Salary Range: $22.50 per hour. The final salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Additionally, the firm provides standard benefits including health insurance, 401(k) contribution, and paid time off, with annual bonus potential based on firm performance.
