Join The Flood Law Firm, a leading personal injury litigation law firm in Middletown, CT, for an in-person 12-week paid summer internship designed to provide you with hands-on experience in a professional legal setting.
What You'll Do:
As a summer intern, you'll work closely with our experienced paralegals and legal assistants, contributing to the investigative and administrative tasks involved in building cases. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and organizing case documents, including scanning, filing, and maintaining records
- Completing data entry tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date case information
- Requesting essential case materials, such as photos, insurance policy documents, and police reports during the investigative phase of new cases
- Requesting medical records and bills for ongoing cases
- Assisting with document preparation and management for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Supporting the team with various other administrative and legal tasks as needed
Requirements
- Current undergraduate student entering senior year
- Strong interest in pursuing a legal career or attending law school
