DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research relevant case law and statutory precedent.
- Analyze legal documents and briefs, ensuring accurate statement and depiction of facts, case law, and precedent provided.
- Prepare various types of correspondence regarding assigned matters.
- Prepare a variety of litigation documents, including affidavits, petitions, discovery, motions, and pleadings.
- Draft basic corporate documents, including meeting minutes, resolutions, and disclosure schedules.
- Assist with conference call negotiations, witness fact investigations, and depositions.
- Attend and assist with negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
- Maintain exhibits and prepare and organize various types of tangible evidence as needed for court appearances.
- Regular in-persona attendance, and participation in various attorney-shadowing opportunities.
